Unfortunately, the wrong volume of this two volume set was sent; I contacted ThriftBooks and received instructions on how to proceed. I followed those steps, and got an immediate and personal reply from customer service, saying that unfortunately they had no copies in stock of the pictured volume, and that I would be refunded the total purchase price, without needing to return the book they'd sent.
