Lovely old postcard of the Orphans Home at Bridge of Weir where my mum was sent when she was only 5 years old. I miss my mum so much and have been thinking of my childhood a lot since she passed away.. and now I'm thinking about her childhood too. Postcard arrived promptly and very safely packaged too.
