I really wanted to like these and I do as they're really strong and waterproof but if you're wanting them for tortoises be wary. Our 3 are 60+ years old and very healthy, but the lip at the bottom is quite high & the floor slippery so it stops them being able to get themselves out. I'm about most of the time to sort them out, but I was hoping these would allow them to be as self sufficient as they were with the previous wooden boxes which had no lip at the bottom. Maybe carpet inside 🤔
