They appear and feel like quality leather, pretty sturdy and the stitching seems to be good. Both bags have gun pockets. Don’t expect to hold a lot of stuff but for weekend rides more than fine. The bags come with 2 keys and the locks only keep honest people honest, I wouldn’t leave any valuables in there for an extended period of time. I would purchase these bags and or the other bags this seller has. No problem
