I am the new owner of this AMAZING set & JM let me leave this feedback. I now understand why he urged me to get the set. It is more than a "work of art" & the size works nicely on my Rosewood & Maple board. The pieces are nicely weighed & balanced for their size - & the "clean lines" of the pieces stand-out during play from the overly "orinamental staunton" designs you see at both tournaments & club play today. I have received many compliments on the set already - & questions about it! 5Star
