The stories move from the relaxed 1960s to the present big-money, high-tech scene. The book begins in New Zealand where Young worked in a bank and attended races. Here he met Jim Clark, became Bruce McLaren's secretary, and came to Britain in 1961 to follow motorsport. He explains how the team survived after McLaren's death in 1970 and came to dominate Formula 1.

Good item, as described. Prompt dispatch and delivery. I wanted this hard copy manual, searching ebay finding only soft copy options. Then this one hard copy which I was happy to purchase. The Neautral experience is re that almost immediately after paying the transaction, eBay sends notice of more of the same manual available locally and nearly 30 dollars cheaper. I purchased this good item from a good seller, in good faith, yet felt annoyed that I could of had the same item $30 cheaper
