I was expecting ube which I now know is not the same as Okinawan sweet potato. The seller actually listed several different varieties rather than specifying which one he was selling. These are fine but definitely not ube or Filippino purple yam also known as discorea alata. I put this down to my lack of knowledge but the seller should give the latin name of the variety he is selling.
Shipping was fine.

The purple sweet potatoes did not grow any slips. Didn’t even grow roots. They have been in water since I received them. Over a month.They looked healthy when they arrived, I don’t understand. All my potatoes that I bought from a different seller had slips growing in two weeks.
