From being front-runners in the late 1960s emissions controls and tightening safety regulations gradually emasculated these cars in the early 1970s. The oil crisis of 1973-4 finally killed off the muscle car genre altogether. This book is a compilation of road and comparison tests, driving impressions, model introductions and performance data. Good item, as described. Prompt dispatch and delivery. I wanted this hard copy manual, searching ebay finding only soft copy options. Then this one hard copy which I was happy to purchase. The Neautral experience is re that almost immediately after paying the transaction, eBay sends notice of more of the same manual available locally and nearly 30 dollars cheaper. I purchased this good item from a good seller, in good faith, yet felt annoyed that I could of had the same item $30 cheaper
