The foot on the bottom of the plate interferes with the lever on my quick release clamp making it tricky to clamp/unclamp the plate. The threaded hole for the screw is very close to the thicker part of the plate preventing the screw from being replaced with one having a larger head such as a D-ring screw that can be easily used without tools.
