First American Edition of this account of a photographer s adventures in Kenya where he captured images of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, rhinoceros and hippopotami. With the invention of mobile and easy-to-carry cameras, photographers were becoming more and more eager to snap views of things unseen. Thus, in the early 20th-century the hobby of camera hunting became popular and no camera hunters were more popular than Marius Maxwell.
