A wonderful comic relationship between the two leads make this show irresistible. Perhaps being of an advanced age myself tends to make the show more pertinent, but the comedy is light and unusual, being based on an almost permanent negative approach on one side, and a wholly positive approach on the other. More please.

My favourite of the detectives in this very enjoyable show, Kris Marshall seemed to fit the part perfectly with a nice delicate touch of the ridiculous. The story lines in general are good, with a strong back up cast. I very much enjoyed the DVD and would recommend it to fans of drama with a comic style.
