- Moderate fraying to spine ends, volume one; moderate bumping,, wear to leading corner tips; quarter piece spotting to lower, leading corner volume two. Clear tape repair to top half of, rear hinge volume one. Light spreckled foxing to pastedowns and, endpapers; volume one with remnants of bookplate removal,, volume two with bookplate of William Wentworth Clapham. Volume, two, shows some stress at gutter, page 63 causing some, separation. Overall bindings solid, text pages and plates very, clean.
