This book gives principals the tools they need to avoid lawsuits by teaching their staff the information they need to practice preventive law. Lawsuits often begin when teachers unintentionally violate students' rights such as searching a student's cell phone without reasonable suspicion or failing to follow a student's Individualized Education Program. These violations do not occur because teachers intend to break the law. They occurred because the vast majority of teachers are not required to learn about the rights and responsibilities of students and teachers in their teacher preparation programs. Ordered as thought they were coming from quite local. As they hadn't arrived and still hadn't by the later of the estimated delivery dates contacted the seller to get an update when I was likely to receive them as was given no tracking info? Without requesting was issue a refund. Assumed weren't coming so proceeded to order elsewhere. The items then turned up a week and a half later. As I'm honest contacted customer services and paid for the items once again. This experience messed me around.
