These little knives are delightfully useful. I always carry one with me, except when flying, when I pack one in my stowed luggage. I've lost many of these things to TSA. The disigns on the knives are many and varied so you can target the recipient by their interests. If you're a bit superstitious, keep in mind that you should have the person you are gifting "pay" for the knive with a penny or some other small amount of money. Giving a knife can "sever" a friendship, so have them "buy" it.
