Part fit, but didn't do the job it was designed for. I also noticed the cylinder was much smaller in diameter than the stock one. When I installed these, they held the trunk lid open for about ten seconds and then the lid came down on my head. Obvious sub-par design and/or workmanship. Not satisisfied!
