I have always found the self-study problems a real strength of this text. They enable students to check their understanding immediately, and they also effectively break the chapters down into workable parts., The authors have done an exceptional job of illuminating the "Transfer Pricing" problem. This is the most concise and easy to understand discussion of the topic I have seen., Any and all of the exercises would help my students and me in understanding the course. They are clearly written and focus on the material in small chunks., I believe chapters 8 ("Management Accounting in a Global Business Environment"), 12 ("A Closer Look at Service Companies"), and 13 ("The Japanese Perspective") give the book its comparative advantage. The quality and depth of coverage in these chapters significantly surpass that of similar books., The end of chapter assignments are not only relevant and appropriate, but quite good. The assignments are clearly written and give a wide assortment of choices with regards to difficulty and type for the instructor to use.
