It's heavier than I expected, but it is beautiful and fits my horse perfectly. I've used it in 3 horse shows and I've gotten quite a few compliments. Also, my horse doesn't toss his head or jab his nose out like he did with his Tom thumb bit. He doesn't care for the weight but even so, he's clearly happier with this bit than he was before! Many thanks for the fast delivery too. A+
