I don't see any conspicuous soiling, but there is clear color loss on parts of the front and also off the bottom edge of the rear. The gilt design on both the front and rear is quite bright. The gilt lettering and design on the spine is also in very nice shape. There is a little bit of thin scuffing at the bottom edge of the spine. There are small, light creases below the top corners and above the bottom corners. The cover edges are in very good shape. The two top corners have small spots of rub-through. The two bottom corners do not. The top page edge is gilt. Parts of the gilt have been scuffed over. The middle and bottom page edges are deckled rough-cut. The book is square and the spine is straight. The binding is solid from cover to cover. The covers are solidly bound as well. There are no binding issues despite the book being quite thick and long, 469 numbered pages, 475 in total. The paper quality....Condition Continued below....”
