Typical of the northern Europe neoclassic period the well carved dentilled moulding above a reeded frieze panel that is repeated lower down. The pediment over two oak panel doors. The interior with three oak shelves that are adjustable in height. The slope top desk opens with a key and reveals a fitted multi drawer interior with central door. Below the fall front desk top is a reeded front shallow document drawer and three further drawers below all with original locks. The whole raised on ornate Louis XVI carved oak feet Danish Gustavian 19th century in the Georgian Chippendale manner of 1770. Dimensions Height: 212 cm Width 124 cm Depth: 56cm The door section top cabinet lifts off the base for easy moving.”
