This is not ammolite but, being Canadian and living very close to two of the main sources of ammolite, I already knew that. When purchasing, I thought I'd get a nice piece of dichroic glass or perhaps a synthetic opal inlay. That is just what it turned out to be. If you want a lovely 'art glass' style pendant with a ton of color play and flash, go for it! It really is a great price and very pretty.
