The Nokia 7230 is an unlocked global GSM phone. It is compatible with a number of carriers and can be used on AT&T’s 3G network, as well as T-Mobile’s 2G network. Designed to take mini SIM cards, this mobile phone from Nokia is capable of switching carriers when necessary, allowing you to choose the service that works best for you instead of being locked in to a specific one. With a 2.4-inch display and a 240x320 pixel resolution, the Nokia 7230 is able to display your texts, emails, and even games clearly. It runs the Nokia Series 40 user interface and provides several customization options on the home screen. Options and available apps include basic information such as time, battery, and signal strength, as well as links to the applications that you use most often with your Nokia slider. The Nokia 7230 comes with a browser, a phone book with room for 2,000 contacts, and an organizer with to-do lists and reminders. The Nokia 7230 supports SMS and MMS messaging, email, and instant messaging. It also has Bluetooth capabilities, allowing you to connect to other Bluetooth-enabled devices or accessories, and GPRS Class 32 and EDGE Class 32 for better connection speed.
