I first ordered the 7 which measured 82 on my tip gauge which is way to small and opening. Then I ordered the 8 which measured 100 on the tip gauge. That was ok for me. You might want to order a size larger than what you need to get the more open tip. Otherwise, the mouthpiece is well made and seems play well. It gives you the Guardala type sound with little effort. Worth a shot!
