These keys are JUNK! There is slop in the gears, and they won't hold tune! Unfortunately, the mandolin will only accept these keys without re-drilling the holes.......not gonna happen. I would suggest that luthier find better keys!

I sold a lot of sets 636G, maybe it is not the best but I believe it can work well because I use 636G in my mandolins,too. No problem like yours. Ebay other buyers also did not complain about 636G.
