The tri-level playcalling ranges from easy to advanced, letting gamers pick plays based on their personal skill level, and "Intelligent Coach Tips" give players instant feedback regarding play selection and execution. Passing and defense have been simplified with new player indicators, new open receiver icons and animations, and a one-button control scheme featuring assisted player movements that allows for bone-crunching hits. Wi-Fi multiplayer games are available, and the new Last-Minute Miracle feature adds to the stable of returning mini-games.
