It was damaged where the second fold make a point in the fabric, and it will almost certainly lose its backing there. Meanwhile, the pile shows this this on the right side--it has gaps and looks uneven. Some of this is resolving with time and humidity, but I think the shipper should know about how it looked when it arrived.

This hat definitely fits that bill! It's also washable, which is fantastic as I have found most hats to be spot clean or dry clean only. I'll be looking at these hats for Christmas presents for my kiddos!
