I restore vintage audio equipment and build custom tube amps. Heathkit, Heath, Dynaco, McIntosh, Magnavox, RCA, GE, Luxman, Pilot, Hammond,Grommes, Sansui and Sherwood. I build tube amps SE to PP, triode, ultralinear, and pentode. I use subminiature tubes to 6V6 6AQ5 6BQ5 6L6 6550 EL34 KT88.

Tube replaced a Yugoslav Ei in my Herron phono stage. Very quiet, non-microphonic tube. Nice balanced sound.

I had the pleasure of buying a pair of McIntosh mc30 Mackits off Bruce, he went out of his way to get the proper shipping boxes for the amps from McIntosh, and sent very(italicized) instructions on unboxing/initial set up. Thanks for sharing these pieces of audio history with me, these beautiful amps will be thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to do business again one day.
