Epic cable upgrade
Had various cables over the years and recently purchased the epic while available and marked down in price.
Replaced my Shawline X in my main system and there was noticeable difference from the start.
Over 100 hours later and the cable is a big improvement over the Shawline X especially in the Bass.
The Shawline X is a good cable itself now running in my second system but the Epic adds more of everything.
If debating on purchasing the epic like I was myself now is the time to buy while it's discounted now it's being replaced with the Epic X.
Really suited my Naim / Rega system.

HEKO Wind Deflectors Astra GTC
Very easy to fit, 10 minute job all round to fit, ensure area is clean as instructed and allow time for the glue to stick before opening the windows.
Sets the look off nicely on the Astra GTC and hopefully if will do the job allowing to open the window an inch or two while motorway driving without everyone in the car getting a new wind swept hair style.

recommended upgrade for ipod nano 4G.
i looked into a number of types of in the ear earphones by reading numerious reviews on the internet and most people with apple ipods all seem to highly rate the sennheiser.
the ones i opted for where the sennheiser cx400 mk 2 which after running in for some hours where a massive improvement on the standed ipod earphones, but bare in mind every ones earing is very different?
I noticed especially on the instrumental music which had a nice tight bass and a clear sharp treble which shined when needed. Im a listener to all types of music and the sennheiser 400's performed well on 90% of my music libery.
if your into very heavy bass type music then these may be alittle to harsh and i would look into some earphones that can handle heavy loud bass tones.
ive rated the sennheisers as good but if they could handle the really heavy bass tones they would well deserve an excellent rateing.
